Two weekends of 'Grease' coming to city next month

NEW BRITAIN – “Greased Lightning” is about to strike downtown.

The not-for-profit White Rabbit Theatre will begin a two-weekend run of the classic musical “Grease” at Trinity-on-Main, 69 Main St.

The show will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3. Additional performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 8, 9 and 10. Doors open each night at 7 p.m.

The cast and crew includes New Britain residents Aneudy Corchado, who will play T-Birds member Doody; Joe Marturano, who is working on lighting and sound; and Joseph Foran, part of the set design and building team.

Tickets are $20 for adults and teens, $15 for seniors 65 and older and $10 for children 13 and under. There will be a cash bar for adults and refreshments for all ages. Free parking is available on area streets or in the Szczesny Garage opposite the theater.
