New Britain Museum of American Art to hold Pop Up Market Saturday

NEW BRITAIN - The New Britain Museum of American Art will host its third Pop-Up Market of the year on Saturday.

For four years, the fourth Saturday of each month from May to September has seen the art museum filled with goodies from local vendors.

Products ranging from baby clothes to handbags made from recycled material, and abstract paintings will be available for purchase along with produce and other treats.

Even better, all eight vendors are from New Britain or the greater Hartford area.

The market runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free with museum admission. Adult admission is $15 while seniors ages 62 and up get in for $12. Children ages 13 to 17 as well as students get in for $10. Children under 12 are free.

The museum allows free admission on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. Military families are admitted free.
