Connecticut Cabaret Theatre to hold auditions for upcoming shows

BERLIN - Warm up those vocals and pray those tap-dancing shoes fit, because the Connecticut Cabaret Theatre is holding open auditions for their upcoming shows.

Beginning Wednesday, the next Patti LuPone can head on over to the theater on 31-33 Webster Square Road in Berlin for a shot at the spotlight. Anybody age 18 to 55 can audition to be a singer, actor or dancer. Both men and women are needed.

Upcoming shows include “Dracula,” “Goin’ to the Chapel,” “The Last Romance,” “Pump Boys and Dinettes” and “Nana’s Naughty Knickers.”

To schedule an audition, call 860-829-1248. Auditions will go on for about three weeks. About midway through the season, which is about three and a half months, more auditions will take place.

Auditions will be held Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
