Fountainhead, Dick Santi Orchestra to perform in Walnut Hill Park next week

NEW BRITAIN-Fountainhead and the Dick Santi Orchestra are next week’s scheduled acts part of the Summer Music Festival at Walnut Hill Park.

Fountainhead will perform on Monday, Aug. 7. They are a Connecticut-based classic rock band covering songs from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s.

On Wednesday, Aug. 9, the Dick Santi Orchestra is set to play. The 18-member band is best known for its covers of contemporary Jazz and music from the 1940s.

The Summer Music Festival is held throughout July and August at the Darius Miller Band Shell in Walnut Hill Park.

The concerts are held every Monday and Wednesday evening through Aug. 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. Rain dates are scheduled for the following Tuesday.

All performers feature a wide variety of talent and genres. The concerts are free and concessions are available.

Those interested in attending should bring lawn chairs and blankets.
