'Off the Wall' exhibition at CCSU through Oct. 7

NEW BRITAIN -“Off the Wall,” a new exhibition, opened Thursday at Central Connecticut State University’s art gallery.

“Off the Wall” is an exhibition of three-dimensional relief sculptures by artists who focus on form and media.

Artwork by Joseph Costardo, Gail Gregg, Maggie Jay Horne, Peter Kirkiles and Suzan Shutan is displayed in the main gallery. The inner gallery features interactive relief works by artist Bob Gregson.

The gallery is located in the S.T. Chen Fine Arts Center of Maloney Hall.

The show will run through Oct. 7, with scheduled gallery hours from 1-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. It will be open on Oct. 7 for CCSU’s homecoming events.

The gallery shows the work of CCSU faculty, students and alumni as well as contemporary artists from around the world.

All events are free and open to the public with free parking available in the Welte Garage, attached to the building.
