Opening reception today for CCSU art exhibit

NEW BRITAIN - The Central Connecticut State University Art Gallery will have an opening reception for the Art Educators 2017 exhibition today.

The show is an opportunity for the year’s graduating Art Education students to show off their talents.

This year’s students include: Hillary Biernacki, Cathleen Brown, Angela Cipriano, Rachel Clark, Susan Dane, Ashley Domack, Carly Donath, Melissa Figueroa, Brittany Hube, Carolyn Luddy, Aurora Matraku, Willie Maxen, Sara McLaughlin, Rachel Nachmani, Haley Nelson, Katelyn Paradis, Amanda Strom and Mike Tino.

The opening reception will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at the S.T. Chen Fine Arts Center of Maloney Hall.

All gallery events are free and open to the public with free parking available in Welte Garage, attached to the building.

Regular exhibition hours are Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. For more information visit ccsu.edu/art/galleries or call the gallery at 860-832-2633.
