Youth art exhibit opens Saturday at CCSU

NEW BRITAIN-The Central Connecticut State University Art Gallery is hosting an opening reception for a new exhibit on Saturday.

“Teacher/Artist/Mentor,” a youth art celebration, is a collaboration of the Connecticut Art Education Association and CCSU.

The reception will befrom 2 to 4 p.m. in the S.T. Chen Fine Arts Center of Maloney Hall.

The CCSU Art Gallery has a tradition of showing the works of CCSU faculty, students and alumni as well as contemporary artists from around the world.

All gallery events are free and open to the public. Free parking is also available in Welte Garage, which is attached to the building.
