NBSO finale to feature music, lore of Hungary

NEW BRITAIN - Concluding its 2017-18 season, the New Britain Symphony Orchestra will be hosting a concert celebrating composers, stories and traditional folk music of one of the most diverse and beautiful countries in Europe - Hungary.

The program will include “Mazaeppa” by Franz Liszt, “Summer Evening” by Zoltan Kodaly, and the Concerto for Orchestra by Bela Bartok.

The concert will take place on 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, at Welte Auditiorium at Central Connecticut State University. Tickets are $20 for general admission and free for students.
