NEW BRITAIN - CCARC is inviting residents to celebrate its clients’ art at its sixth annual art chow.

The show will run from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at CCARC, 950 Slater Road. It will showcase about 75 pieces of art created by adults supported by CCARC’s day and residential services.

According to CCARC, fostering appreciation for the creative talents of people with intellectual disabilities is one of the ways the agency fulfills its mission to “Make Dreams Happen” for men and women with Down Syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, deafness and other developmental and physical limitations. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
