Funk festival coming to Trinity-on-Main

NEW BRITAIN - New Britain is going to bring the funk on Friday when the Funkadelic Festival rolls into town.

For just $20 - $15 in advance - fans can see and hear four high-energy bands: Red Ball Express, the Recess Bureau, Murderous Chanteuse and Jenn Durkin and The Business.

Refreshments and food will be served at the event. A full cash bar will be available for adults, but people of all ages are welcome to listen to the music.

The show goes on from 7 to 11 p.m. at Trinity-on-Main, at 69 Main St. Parking is available at the Chestnut Street parking lot across the street.
