BERLIN - Police are trying to determine the cause of a motorcycle accident Saturday that killed a Berlin man.

Dylan DiValentino, 21, was driving east on Southington Road just west of Stockings Brook Road at about 6:25 p.m. when he apparently lost control of his motorcycle and crashed, police said.

He was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.

The Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Squad was called in to help Berlin police investigate, Deputy Chief Christopher Ciuci said.

A witness who had been passing in the other direction saw the headlights of the bike start to wobble and then the operator fall off, police said.

Police are still looking for information, Ciuci said.

Anyone with information on the accident is asked to call Officer Ryan Gould at 860-828-7080.
