BERLIN - The Berlin Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registration by residents for several programs. Nonresident registration begins on Tuesday.
People can register online through the town’s Web-Trac program, on the town’s website, www.town.berlin.ct.us , or in person at the Parks and Recreation Department office, 230 Kensington Road.

Fall preschool and youth programs include:
Learning Adventure with M.S.M.A.R.E. (Learning Adventure with Math, Science, Music, Art, Reading & Exploration) for ages 3 to 5
Exploring Dance for ages 3 to 5
Dance Elements for ages 5 to 8
Painting with Peggy, kindergarten through fifth grade, with a dragon, unicorn and dinosaur theme on Saturday, Sept. 22 and 29; a Halloween/Thanksgiving theme on Oct. 20 and Nov. 1; and a Christmas theme on Dec. 1 and 8.
Adult and youth programs include:
Kangoo Power. Must be at least 13 years old
Introduction to Yoga
Tai Chi for Osteoporosis and Fall Prevention
Basic Dog Obedience
Better Basic Dog Obedience
Family activities and special events include:
Pumpkin Decorating, pre-kindergarten through fifth grade,
Scarecrow Festival and Monster Bash, pre-K through fifth grade.
