BERLIN - Eversource received an Exemplary Energy Efficiency Program award from the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy in recognition of their efforts to help customers better manage their energy through its Residential Multifamily Initiative.
“It is an honor to be recognized by ACEEE for our program, which has been very successful,” said Eversource Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer Penni Conner.
Eversource increased its number of comprehensive multifamily energy efficiency projects in Connecticut by over 40 percent in the last three years.
Mary Gordon, property manager of Hockanum Crossing in Vernon, is one program participant.
“We have 700 apartments, and every single energy-efficiency improvement was knocked out of the park,” said Gordon. “From lower utility costs to a brighter, better overall living experience, it gives our residents a reason to stay.”
