BERLIN - The Connecticut Building Congress will host its 24th annual Robert J. LeFloch Memorial Golf Outing and CBC Scholarship Fundraiser on Monday, Sept. 23 at Shuttle Meadow Country Club, at 51 Randecker Lane, Kensington.
This year’s golf outing will be an 18-hole shotgun start scramble format with various contests, lunch, door prizes, a buffet dinner, awards and raffle prizes.
The outing will start at 10 a.m. with participant registration. There will be a cookout lunch from 11 a.m. to noon, cocktails and silent auction of sports memorabilia from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and buffet dinner, awards and raffle prizes from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Participation in the event helps raise money for the CBC Scholarship Fund. The fund offers scholarships to graduating Connecticut high school students entering college-level programs in architecture, construction-related engineering, construction management, surveying, planning, or other courses of study leading to associate, baccalaureate, or masters degrees in the construction field.
CBC has raised more than $500,000 over the past 23 years through sponsorships and raffle ticket sales at this annual event.
