BERLIN – A two-car accident that resulted with one car on its side and minor injuries happened at the intersection of Frontage Road and Worthington Ridge Friday morning.

The accident was reported around 10 a.m.

Berlin and East Berlin fire crews arrived to find a man trapped inside a Nissan Pathfinder, which was the car on its side.

The crews said they removed the windshield quickly and the man was able to crawl out of the car. The car received front end damage and the air bags were deployed.

A Chevrolet Malibu, driven by a woman, was the other car involved and received damage to its passenger side and front end. The airbags were deployed.

A cause of the accident was not immediately clear, according to police at the scene as they were unable to speak with the drivers before they were transported to the hospital. The drivers were the lone occupants of the car, fire crews said.
