BERLIN -- Police are asking the public for help identifying the suspect in an assault that took place at a local pizza house.

Berlin Acting Chief Chris Ciuci on Tuesday released two photos of the suspect in an attack that took place on Saturday, around 9:45 p.m., at 96 Mill St. -- which is the address for Central Pizza.

Ciuci said the woman in the photo allegedly assaulted a customer at the restaurant. The incident was caught on video and shared widely over social media, Ciuci added.

As of yet, police have not received any information from the public that would help in identifying the suspect.

Further details of the assault were not released Tuesday.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect has been asked to contact Berlin police at 860-828-7080. Tips can also be submitted anonymously at BerlinPD.org.
