BERLIN – Sudor Taino Group Fitness Studio is holding its fifth annual Divinely Fit Fest.

The Divinely Fit Fest is Saturday, July 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival is located at 430 Beckley Rd.

Gym owner Karla Medina said fitness enthusiasts, instructors, trainers, fitness beginners, wellness seekers and community wellness builders will be at the festival.

“The day will consist of interactive spiritual, mental and physical fitness with special guest presenters, demos and interactive workouts to choose from,” Medina said.

Some presenters attending are Sistah Anyango of FLYY Fitness, Carli Kilcomons instructing Soul Drumming and Richard Medina teaching partner workouts, she said.

“Divinely Fit Fest’s mission is to amplify our commitment to reaching the community-at-large and finding what moves them individually, collectively and culturally,” Medina said.

Medina said she wrote a book, Divinely Fit: A Spirit, Mind, Body Journey of Struggle & Promise, to expose people to wellness resources.

“I wanted to create a platform for people of all fitness levels and backgrounds to help find what moves them spiritually, mentally and physically,” she said.

The Divinely Fit Fest is an outdoor festival that “ushers in a summer-fresh festival feel,” Medina said. Along with various workouts to partake in, she said there would be a food truck from Smash Brothers, vendor stations, raffles, giveaways and music.

“Sudar Taino Group Fitness created this particular platform to showcase its neighboring small businesses and sponsors to help them recover financially and socially from the pandemics' devastating effects,” she said.
