BERLIN - The Berlin boys basketball team closed out its regular season with a 77-64 loss to Middletown on Monday evening.

The Redcoats were outscored from the start, as the Blue Dragons gained an early 11-point lead.

Berlin had a big second quarter, scoring 22 points, but it wouldn’t be enough as Middletown continued to grow its lead.

Berlin was led by Holden Murphy, with 15 points, and Gianni Fanelli, who added 14.

The Redcoats (8-12) will begin the CCC Tournament next week.
