BERLIN - Anthony Marzi has done nothing but stood out during his time in the minor leagues and it has resulted in him being called-up to the Chattanooga Lookouts, the Minnesota Twins Double-A affiliate.

The Berlin native has put together a 1.75 ERA in 92 2/3 career minor league innings.

After graduating from UConn in 2014, Marzi went undrafted but was signed by the New York Yankees, who would go on to release him.

Following his release Marzi pitched for the New Britain Bees and earned his way back to a Major League Baseball organization when the Twins gave him a chance.

Since getting the chance, Marzi hasn’t disappointed.
