FBI on scene at Newington home

NEWINGTON – Agents from the FBI were on the scene at a Maple Hill Avenue residence Thursday morning. Newington police said they are not involved in the investigation. Newington police were temporarily at the site but have left the area. A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Connecticut said the probe is part of an ongoing federal investigation but declined to give details.

Newington police said the last time they were at the address was in 2015 for a barking dog complaint. Check back for details in this developing story.
