BRISTOL - The Bristol Blues and the Martha’s Vineyard Sharks each scored three runs over the first two innings but the Blues won the next six and a half innings to earn the 7-6 victory at Muzzy Field on Friday night.

The Sharks scored a pair of runs in the top of the sixth and added another in the away seventh to take a 6-3 lead but Bristol would not go quietly into the night.

The Blues scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh innings to come back and they held the Sharks scoreless in their final two innings at the plate.

Only Nick Roy and Mitch Williams had multi-hit nights for Bristol, while Mark Tumosa was the only Blues player with more than one RBI.

Anthony Morrone got the win on the mound after relieving starter Malachi Edmond and Jake Frasca picked up the save.
