BRISTOL - The Worcester Bravehearts scored the first four runs of the game over the opening four innings but the Bristol Blues stormed back to score five unanswered runs on their way to a 5-4 win at Muzzy Field on Saturday.

Trailing 4-0 entering the bottom of the sixth, the Blues scored a pair to cut the deficit in half. Jayson Gonzalez had the one RBI in the frame, as Logan Greene scored the other run on an odd set of circumstances.

In the seventh inning, Chris Davis drove in Nick Roy for Bristol’s only run of the inning and to get the Blues to within one.

The Bravehearts’ errors cost them the lead in the eighth inning, as the Blues scored two unearned runs to take the lead. With one out, Roy hit into an error by the shortstop, which allowed Brandon Grover and Josh Zibierski to score.

Tom Curtin entered the game for the Blues in the top of the seventh and picked up his fourth save of the season.
