VINEYARD HAVEN, Mass. - Cooper Mrowka hit a grand slam to cap a six-run first inning for the Bristol Blues on Sunday, as they enjoyed one of their best offensive games all season in a 13-8 victory on the road over the Martha’s Vineyard Sharks.

Chris Davis, Jake Frasca, Ben Maycock and Garrett Blaylock also all hit home runs in the game for the Blues, who collected 15 hits in the contest.

But while Bristol’s offense boomed, its pitching faltered, giving up eight earned runs on 17 hits. John Natoli (4 IP, 4 hits, no walks, 1 earned run) got the win after starter Kyle Hodgson (4 IP, 9 hits, 1 walk, 6 earned runs) was unable to go five innings.

Six Blues batters got multiple hits, while four had multiple RBI.

The victory got Bristol (11-11) to the .500 mark for the first time this season.
