PITTSFIELD, Mass. - The Bristol Blues are heading into the all-star break on a high note.

Dylan Reynolds provided a sacrifice fly and Ian Ostberg scored on subsequent throwing error to break a tie in the eighth inning as the Blues went on to beat the Pittsfield Suns 4-2 Sunday afternoon.

It was Reynolds second RBI of the day after a single in the first for the first run of the game.

The Suns tied the game at 2-2 in the fifth on a pair of singles. Jack Culumovic’s base hit to center field scored Peter Marren. Two batters later, Vicente Mendoza singed in Kyle Cronk.

Both runs can off Bristol starter Kelvin Sosa, who went five innings and gave up the two runs on five hits. He also had seven strikeouts to just one walk.
