No lives were lost but there’s no shortage of outrage about another anonymous postcard barrage in Bristol. They arrived Monday and Tuesday, bearing no name or address, and attacked Mayor Ken Cockayne. They were quickly denounced by his opponent in the mayoral race, Ellen Zoppo-Sassu, and we’d like to join in that sentiment.

If people have something to say, they should be willing to stand up and put their name to it. Anonymous attacks are cowardly and highly inappropriate, especially in a local race where everyone knows everyone else.
