To the Editor:

Well done Plainville Police Department for arresting Crystal Davis, 40, for charges of second-degree robbery, fifth-degree larceny, second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of peace.

She tried to steal $964 worth of items and then threatened the employee. There are far too many customers who try to steal merchandise or return a product that they clearly damaged to get a store credit/new product. The store should NOT honor any type of return-product SCAM!!

If a customer buys a product then they’ve taken ownership of their purchase. There are some really stupid customers who don’t read the operator manuals, refuse to pick-up items they’ve purchased and return items they misused/destroyed, and expect to receive a refund.

It’s insane what some customers try to get away with and when they threaten an employee, it’s high time the business tells the person to GET OUT and don’t come back.
