NEW BRITAIN - To mark its official opening, Force Automation Inc. will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Oct. 10, hosted by Mayor Erin Stewart.

Force Automation Inc. is a robotics integration company specializing in developing solutions for material removal, polishing, inspection, work handling, serial marking and additional operations for both aerospace and manufacturing companies, according to its website.

Co-owners Lukasz Poplawski and Tom Bucior decided to bring Force Automation to New Britain because of their familiarity with manufacturers around the city, and because they want to bring their recognized approach to working with local companies to help them stay competitive by using automation.

The company provides turnkey solutions using advanced technologies for any shape or size of part.

The ribbon cutting will take place at 11 a.m. at their location on 100 Production Ct.

In addition to Mayor Stewart and the owners of Force Automation, Economic Development Director Bill Carroll and Greater New Britain Chamber of Commerce President Timothy Stewart will also be in attendance.
