NEW BRITAIN - The owner of Sublime Exposure Online, a digital marketing company, said he’s glad his business is now settled in a downtown building.

When Christopher DeMorro started his business in 2016, he was part of the Central Connecticut State University Institute of Technology and Business Development’s incubator program. After six months, DeMorro started to run his business from home, but in April, he moved his office to 81 W. Main St.

“I really wanted to bring my business downtown. I really like New Britain, and I wanted to share my love,” DeMorro said. “I do a lot of meetings here with my clients and I wanted them to see how New Britain is moving along, moving forward. I really love the city. I think it’s important to be a part of the fabric of the city, to integrate, and to get out there.”

Sublime Exposure Online handles press releases, websites, social media accounts, copywriting, photos, videos, advertising and communication strategies for companies at the local, national and international levels.

“We work with a lot of high-technical companies that are also kind of stuck in slow industries,” DeMorro said. “We have this kind of intersection of fast moving technology and slow moving industries so the companies we are working with, we are pushing a lot of things forward.”

According to DeMorro, one of the characteristics that defines his business is responsiveness. He said that no matter what part of the world his clients are in, they are always aware of the services they get from Sublime Exposure Online.

Sublime Exposure Online has over 20 social media clients, and it manages about 60 social media accounts. The company creates the content and manages responses.

DeMorro told The Herald that even though the online network services his business offers are some of the most popular, managing social media for institutions can be very challenging.

The company has four full- and part-time employees and about a dozen contractors who work on a per-project basis.

DeMorro said that without his employees, his business wouldn’t bewhere it is today.

“I’m very lucky that I have great friends and great work peers that wanted to work with me, and helped me get the business going.” DeMorro said.

The company can be contacted by e-mail at or by phone at 860-575-0455.
