DURHAM - Technical Manufacturing Corp. has been selected as U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy’s Monday Manufacturer.

Located at 645 New Haven Road, Technical Manufacturing is a contract electronics manufacturer that focuses on satisfying customers’ demands and evolving product specifications.

The company was founded in 1985 and it serves more than 100 companies across the world. Technical Manufacturing Corp.’s customers include Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Boeing and Northrop Grumman.

The women-owned small business offers engineering prototypes, in-process manufacturing and post production support. The business plays a role in the evolution of its products from the design phase through the product installation. The company has a selection of wire termination equipment such as applicators, dies and crimp tools. It also has a printed circuit board population, interconnected wire and cable harness assembly expertise.

This manufacturing company runs in a 20,000-square-foot facility and it serves as an employer to 20 people.

Technical Manufacturing Corp. is in the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program, through which businesses follow guidelines to make products for the defense and aerospace industries.
