HARTFORD - State police are looking for a New Britain man who is wanted for allegedly possessing child pornography.

Frank Citron, 26, with a last known address of 205 Hartford Road, Apt. D12, New Britain, came under suspicion in June after the State Police Computer Crimes Unit discovered files of suspected child pornography were downloaded from an internet account assigned to him, police said.

As part of the investigation into the files, state police obtained a search warrant and raided Citron’s New Britain address, seizing computers and other digital evidence. The devices contained a large quantity of images and videos that depicted suspected child pornography, police said. State police then obtained an arrest warrant charging Citron with first-degree child pornography and promoting a minor in an obscene performance. But now state police are seeking the public’s help in finding Citron who has not been located.

State police are asking anyone who may have information on Citron’s whereabouts to call State Police Troop H in Hartford at 860-534-1000 or text TIP711. All calls and texts can remain confidential.
