Plainville voter turnout was 25 percent

PLAINVILLE - With the final tally in, Plainville’s registrars of voters are reporting a better than average turnout for Tuesday’s elections.

District I saw 23 percent voter turnout, District II 24 percent and Districts III and IV 28 percent, resulting in a 25 percent average.

Here are the Town Council vote totals. The seven top vote-getters were elected:

Kathy Pugliese - 1,745

Jesse Gnazzo - 1,672

Chris Wazorko - 1,598

Scott Saunders - 1,558

Deb Tompkins -1,556

Rosemary Morante - 1,502

Ty Cox - 1,500

Dan Carrier - 1,451

Robert Ciotto - 1,403

Richard Ireland Jr. - 1,305

Wayne Fish - 356

John Kisluk - 144

Here are the Board of Education vote totals. The four candidates with the most votes were elected:

Andrea Saunders - 1,618

Nicole Palmieri - 1,595

Becky Tyrell - 1,566

Kathleen Wells - 1,489

Rebecca Martinez - 1,424

Lori Consalvo - 1,419

Eight candidates ran for constable posts and the top seven were elected. Here are the vote totals:

Kathleen Michalik - 1,479

Ezio Capozzi Jr. - 1,426

Adam Bergenty - 1380

Cheryl Castonguay - 1,267

Joseph Klepacki - 1,257

Roberta LaLama - 1,224

Shelly Johnson - 1,207

Both library trustee candidates were voted in. The totals were:
