Crews battle industrial fire in Plainville

PLAINVILLE - Firefighters responded to a fully evolved fire in an industrial building at 15 Cronk Road Saturday evening.

Fire departments from surrounding towns were on scene to help the Plainville Fire Department with the blaze in below-zero wind chills. Farmington and Southington fire department responded as mutual aid.

The fire took place in an industrial complex and was fully evolved by 4:45 p.m., according to the Plainville Fire Department.

The entrance to Cronk Road from Roberts Street was blocked off by police, in addition to the entrance to Cronk Road from Norton Place.

Firefighters were still on scene battling the blaze around 5:30 p.m.
