Berlin Parks and Rec. offering dog obedience classes

BERLIN - The Berlin Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registration for summer dog obedience classes.

Kindergaten Puppy Training will run on Thursdays between June 14 and July 26 from 6 to 7 p.m. for dogs up to six months old.

Basic Dog Obedience will run on Tuesday’s between June 12 and July 24 from 6 to 7 p.m., in which dog’s should be at least 6 months old.

Better Basic Dog Obedience will run on Wednesday’s June 13 to July 25 from 6 to 7 p.m. for dogs who have completed Basic Dog Obedience class.

Registration has begun for residents and will begin on May 21 for non-residents.

People can register online via the departments Web-Trac program found at town.berlin.ct.us, in person at the department’s office at 230 Kensington Rd., Berlin CT, 06037, or mail to the same address.

Classes are held at the former Pistol Creek golf course, 600 Spruce Brook Rd. Fees are charged.
