BRISTOL - Bristol Hospital is up to three patients who have tested positive for coronavirus.
The hospital reported the patients on Wednesday after previously seeing a nine-day stretch without one such patient with the virus, a stretch that ended Tuesday when it reported treating one person with covid-19.
The three latest patient admissions with coronavirus at Bristol Hospital are not joined by any further patients under investigation - which are defined as patients who show symptoms consistent with the virus while awaiting test results.
The hospital has not had a death to report connected to covid-19 in weeks.
Statewide, coronavirus hospitalizations on Wednesday dropped by one patient compared to that of a day earlier. There are now 59 people with the virus in a hospital in Connecticut.
