BRISTOL -- Bristol Hospital is treating three patients who have tested positive for covid-19.

The hospital on Monday was down to one patient with the virus after reporting that it had successfully discharged its 100th patient with coronavirus over the weekend.

Bristol Hospital on Tuesday did not report any further patients under investigation for possibly having covid-19.

The hospital’s coronavirus numbers increasing slightly comes on the heels of hospitalizations around the state rising again, according to numbers released Tuesday by state officials. The numbers published Tuesday indicate statewide hospitalizations increased by 17 patients from a day earlier, as 172 people in Connecticut are now in one of the state’s hospitals with the virus.
