BRISTOL - With the rain coming down Wednesday, Little League postponed both of the Little League Softball Eastern Regional games to be played today.

The day off could provide a more competitive game between Delaware and Connecticut, who both played twice on Tuesday.

Connecticut and Delaware are the second game this afternoon with the first pitch set for 4 p.m.

Kicking off the day will be Pennsylvania and Rhode Island at 1 p.m. Both are the only two 2-0 teams remaining. The loser of this game will face the winner of Delaware and Connecticut on Friday at 9 a.m.

The championship game is set for noon on Friday. In order for Connecticut to get a chance to play for the title it must beat Delaware and the loser of Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
