BLOOMFIELD – Innovation girls volleyball beat MLC Thursday night, winning 3-1.

The Ravens dropped the first set 25-21 before winning three straight, going 25-11, 25-20 and 25-17, in order.

Patrice Broughton had a team-high eight kills. Tynise Rose added six kills and one block while Ciara Cardona had two digs with a high of nine assists.

Boys soccer

Goodwin Tech 3, Grasso Tech 0: Goodwin Tech boys soccer blanked Grasso Tech Thursday night, winning 3-0.

Dylan Johns led in saves for Goodwin, stopping three shots. Damen Stepien scored twice, while Robert LeBlond added one off a penalty kick attempt.

Girls soccer

Civic Leadership 4, Goodwin Tech 0: Goodwin Tech girls soccer was shut out Thursday night, falling 4-0 to Civic Leadership.

Goodwin had 11 saves combined from Selyah Rivera and Kiara Bunch.

Civic had two goals from DeeDee Robinson.
