To the Editor:
Our finance director, Kevin Delaney, has projected that within 10 years, our annual budget will be over $100 million dollars. As a matter of fact, the town and the Board of Education presented budgets that topped $100 million (before being trimmed down).
Without significant growth in economic development, and a different approach as to how services are delivered in Berlin, and at the state level, I shudder to think how high our taxes would be under Democratic control.
Please vote for Mayor Mark Kaczynski, and the Republican ticket, to keep us on a path of fiscal responsibility.
