To the Editor:

I am writing this letter in support of John Kisluk who is running as a write-in candidate for Plainville Town Council.

John has been an active vocal resident in the town political arena for many years. He has written letters to the editor starting with “Well Folks” - Sound familiar?

If you go to a town council meeting, you are sure to find John there at the podium speaking out on our concerns such as Rails to Trails, the dog park and the Tilcon Issue.

John was instrumental in bringing back the televised portion of citizens’ comments as part of the town council meetings as televised by Nutmeg TV. He was a strong voice along with 3,409 other Plainville voters against the demolition of Old Linden Street School.

He was instrumental in collecting signatures to stop a thruway road through the library parking lot.

John doesn’t believe in rubber stamping and turning his head the other way. He researches and digs for the facts and truth.

We need a fresh voice on the council. John is a write-in candidate. If you want to a fresh voice on the council, when you vote on Nov. 7th you need to fill in the oval right after write-in candidate and write in John Kisluk
