To the Editor:

I wanted to thank Mayor Mark Kaczynski, Deputy Mayor Brenden Luddy, Dave Evans, and Peter Rosso for voting to appoint me to complete the Berlin Police Commission term of Kari Drost, who has moved out of Connecticut.

Thank you to Chairman Bob Peters for speaking on my behalf to the Council.

I look forward to working with the Council and with the excellent folks from both parties on the Police Commission. I will take this opportunity to remind my neighbors and fellow Berlin residents that Commission member Paul Eshoo is up for re-election this November; Paul is a first class gentleman, a US Navy veteran, and a retired teacher with over 30 years of service to our young people. He has served on several boards and commissions in town over the years but his service to the Berlin Police Commission is especially valuable and your vote for him deserves your serious consideration.
