To The Editor:

This is an open letter to Mr. Alex Hamzy.

Sir, I am very happy that you are opening your diner for dinner. It is always nice to have somewhere new to try for dinner. However, I take exception to your comment that there is nowhere to go for dinner in Bristol. There is 457 Mason Jar, Sababdee and Monterey Restaurants, all locally owned and within the downtown area.

If one wants to venture further out there are Sage Grill, Uncle Sam’s and Thai Avenue, to name a few.

The restaurants in town should stick together and support each other.

We have some good choices for dining out in Bristol. Let’s support them.
