To the Editor:

Experience! My husband has a long history of experience when it comes to the Newington Public School System. He taught in our great town for 35 years, retiring in 2009. Over those years he taught in grades 3 – 8, ran an alternate education program, and was assistant to the principal at John Wallace Middle School. Being on the Strategic Planning Committee for over 20 years gave him a broad view of the challenges facing our town’s schools over many years. Although the experiences are many and varied, his focus has always been on the student. Their success was the ultimate goal.

So, if you are looking for an experienced and dedicated person vote for my husband, Paul Vessella, for the Board of Education. He needs the support of the entire Republican team to make his 4th term on the Board of Education a productive success!
