To the Editor:

The greens, fairways and rough at the Stanley Golf Course continue to be maintained in an immaculate manner, thanks to the efforts of Superintendent Kevin DeVaux and his hard-working crew.

There is, however one "fly in the ointment" The cart paths are reminiscent of the bombed-out roads and highways of Europe during World War II. While I applaud the efforts that have been extended to our other parks and recreation facilities by our city leaders, it is now time to extend those efforts to the Stanley Golf Course and restore its cart paths.
