NEW BRITAIN – Through a cross-disciplinary blend of transactional law, private client services and focused litigation, the GB Law Group continues to counsel clients throughout the state.

Founded by Gennaro Bizzarro, who also serves as New Britain’s corporation counsel, the private practice has two attorneys and five staff members. Bizzarro and fellow attorney Mackenzie Angels both serve in Connecticut and New York, and routinely offers representation in all phases of residential and commercial real estate transactions. The firm also practices in areas such as municipalities, corporate and businesses and private client serves.

In real estate, the firm has advised clients in connection with thousands of closings and are well-versed in all forms of traditional and alternative real estate financing. They also maintain satellite locations for closings throughout Fairfield County, Litchfield County and Hartford County and in New York City.

As part of the firm’s municipal law practice, they advise municipalities, city officials and various municipal boards and commissions regarding all aspects of municipal administration and litigation.

“We have an intimate understanding of the multitude of issues facing municipalities as well as a heightened sensitivity to the challenging economic constraints under which municipal governments must operate,” said the firm. “Accordingly, we pride ourselves on providing municipal clients with quality legal counsel and personalized attention in a timely and cost-effective manner.”

For corporate and business, the firm offers a broad range of legal services for businesses, professional associations and non-profit organizations of various sizes, including publicly-traded and closely-held corporations, general and limited partnerships, and limited liability companies.

According to the firm, they advise on matter such as entity formation and operation, corporate governance, employment matters, commercial transactions and various contracts and agreements.

“We understand that in today’s demanding business world, our clients need the freedom to capitalize quickly on opportunities while simultaneously managing risk,” said the firm. “Against that backdrop, we provide sophisticated legal counsel backed by a dynamic and innovative approach to legal problem solving.”

For private client services, the firm provides counsel to individuals, families, and closely-held businesses. They work on matters such as real estate acquisition, financing, contract negotiation, various agreements and administration.

A significant portion of the firm’s practice is also devoted to sports and entertainment law, a niche practice area for which GB Law Group has developed a strong reputation as a leader in the field, according to the firm.

Ultimately, the firm said they strive to be efficient and cost effective, yet never at the cost of being thorough and prepared.

“We pride ourselves on our reputation for professionalism, responsiveness, and unwavering dedication to client service,” said the firm.

The law group has two offices, including a West Hartford Office at 15 Main Street, West Hartford, CT 06107, and a Fairfield County office at 17 Main Street, Newtown, CT 06470.
