NEW BRITAIN - The New Britain Bees were never able to recover as the visiting York Revolution scored six runs in the top of the fourth inning on their way to a 12-4 victory on Thursday night.

Carlos Triunfel began the big rally with a two-run homer, then Ryan Dent singled, Chase Simpson doubled and Travis Witherspoon got an RBI single, with a second run scoring on an outfield error as the Revolution took a 5-0 lead at that point. Jared Mitchell followed with a two-run homer to make it 7-0 and the rout was on.

Jon Griffin went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the game for the Bees, who came back with four runs in the bottom of the fourth but were never able to score in any other inning.

Brian Dupra made his first relief appearance of the season for New Britain in the seventh inning. He has three total relief appearances in a Bees uniform, having made two last season.

Jovan Rosa had two hits.
