NEW BRITAIN - Jamar Walton totals had four hits and two RBI, but the New Britain Bees were defeated by the visiting York Revolution 6-3 on Saturday night for their fourth straight loss.

York’s Isaias Tejeda hit a key two-run single in the third inning to give the Revolution a 4-1 lead at that time.

Walton now has seven hits in his last two games after recording his first four-hit game of the season.

Jovan Rosa has recorded multiple hits in two of his last three games, extending his team lead in that category to 33 total multi-hit games on the season. Kyle Simon, who took the loss, has pitched eight or more innings in three of his last five starts.

The game was just five minutes longer than New Britain’s shortest nine-inning game this season (2:07 on July 20 at Somerset).
