FARMINGTON-The Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce will host their 2017 Business Forum focused on Emerging Trends in Business on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the Farmington Gardens.
The informative event will go over emerging trends in workforce needs, digital media marketing, sales techniques and demographics.
Guests will be able to hear from leading experts in those fields and walk away with a better understanding of how those trends will affect their business as well as strategies they can use to integrate the information into their workflow.
The Business Forum starts at 7:30 a.m. with registration, networking and a breakfast buffet, and will go on until 11:30 a.m.
Speakers will include: Connecticut Department of Labor Commissioner Scott Jackson, who will discuss workforce needs and department of labor programs; Kyle Reyes, president and CEO of The Silent Partner Marketing, who will discuss the secrets in advertising that marketers don’t want you to know; Susan Powers, partner and Certified Sandler Trainer at Sandler Training, who will talk about sales techniques to network and grow your business; and Alissa DeJonge, vice president of research at the Connecticut Economic Resource Center, who will talk about demographics and how to look at the future of your business for planning purposes.
People must register in advance in order to attend. Chamber members pay $35 per person, and non-members $40.
