FARMINGTON-Tickets are now on sale for the 16th edition of Wine, Jazz & Song hosted by CONCORAâ€™s Friends of Bach on Saturday, Jan. 20.
From 6 to 9 p.m. in the Porter Memorial Hall at 75 Main St. in Farmington the Sir William Trio - led by bassist William Stillinger, James Argiro on piano and Liviu Pop on drums - and vocalists from CONCORA will offer interpretations of jazz standards, selections from the â€śGreat American Songbookâ€ť and more.
The featured vocalists include Salli-Jo Borden, Kenneth Downes, and Jermaine Woodard, Jr.
CONCORA, which stands for the Connecticut Choral Artists, is a professional choir based out of New Britain and Hartford.
Now in its 44th season, the ensemble, under the leadership of Artistic Director Chris Shepard, aims â€śto perpetuate and perform with excellence choral music of the highest quality for the broadest possible audience,â€ť according to their mission statement.
Guests will also enjoy wine and hors dâ€™oeuvres, a silent wine auction, write-your-own song dedications and dancing.

The Friends of Bach is a volunteer organization whose mission is to enhance and support CONCORAâ€™s annual performances of the music of J.S. Bach. Through a series of events and the donations of individual Bach lovers, the Friends of Bach raise funds to make CONCORAâ€™s Bach performances possible.
