Pathways/Senderos walkathon set for Sept. 30

NEW BRITAIN -The Pathways/Senderos walkathon fundraiser is coming back to the Hardware City this fall.

This year marks the 20th time Pathways has set up the fundraiser so Pathways can continue its mission of eliminating teen pregnancy and getting children past high school graduation.

Walkathon registration begins at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30, at Walnut Hill Park at 184 W Main St. The park will host the event. No preregistration is required.

A raffle is scheduled. The group is still looking for more prizes. Anyone wishing to contribute should call 860-229-2776 or email

Sponsors are still being accepted for the event as well. A platinum sponsor is a donation of at least $1,000, a gold sponsor is anywhere from $500 to $999, a silver sponsor is a donation of $250 to $499 and bronze sponsors are for those willing to donate $100 to $249.
