NEW BRITAIN - Two men were arrested Tuesday after police responding to a possible drug deal complaint found that the men were carrying crack cocaine and a stolen firearm, according to police reports.
Johnny Agron, 30, of 315 High St., first floor, and Bradley Gonzalez-Santini, 38, of 250 North St., Apt. 3D, were taken into custody after patrol officers received a complaint from a resident that a possible drug transaction had taken place in the area of 250 North St., police said.
Officers found the men in a car matching the description in the complaint, police said.
Agron had a stolen .38-caliber pistol, Lt. Adam Rembisz said, while Gonzalez-Santini was carrying two grams of crack cocaine.
Police also seized $897 in suspected drug proceeds during the investigation into the complaint, police said.
Agron was charged with criminal possession of a firearm and theft of a firearm. Gonzalez-Santini was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
